Word given on June 1, 2008
The church is in a phase of time where the wheat’s and the tares will be distinguished. Till now there has been little or no distinction between the two. The recent happenings are a sign that God is bringing in His separation between the true and the false. We would be wise to separate ourselves from all things that are of the flesh. We would be wise if we are not hasty to correct things and are quick to protect ourselves.
Here are a few distinctions that will be helpful
1) Is the Spirit of Truth present amongst us? Where He is, there will be truth in the ones that speak for Him.
2) Is the Spirit of Holiness present amongst us? Where He is, there would be His fruit displayed in our lives (Love, Joy………)
This would also be a season where God will separate the wheat from the chaff in our own lives and in the lives of those who follow Him. We would do well to respond promptly to His dealings.
Isaiah 40:6 to 8
Beloved do not despair for first deep darkness must cover the earth and then behold the Glory of the Lord will rise amongst His people.
For those who refuse to leave their sinful ways and depravity, they would continue in them and get worse. For he that is sinful let him be even more sinful. Behold the deceiver has set his abode in their hearts.
Malachi 3:2 to5
The Lord intends to cleanse His temple of all filth and the days of His grace for us to change our wicked ways are coming to a close. If we had done well to cleanse ourselves of all filthiness of the flesh and spirit we will not suffer loss in the coming days. Here is wisdom; purify yourselves that you be not burned. For the same fire that brings life is the same fire that will bring death.
