Is the Spirit of the Lord amongst us?
In a time were discernment is lacking and were programs from the flesh and enticing words of men have found their place in the church, answering this question in truth becomes very critical.
We are in a very crucial phase in the charismatic movement and the church in general today. Our progress further in God depends on how we answer this question and alllign ourselves accordingly.
The Spirit makes Himself known in power as He arrives but when He leaves He does so quietly.Samson did not perceive that the Spirit had left him.Even so we are in a time were the Spirit has left us and we have continued on in the flesh without even realizing it.In some places this has given place to deceiving spirits at work and others are well headed there. There is a desperate need for an understanding of our true state and a genuine repentance towards God.We have cast of restraint and have overstepped our boundaries. If we do not repent severe judgment is coming.
Let us learn from the life of Samson.Samson was one who had God’s anointing. He did mighty things but he started to flirt with the world.Since there was no immediate consequence for his sin he got accustomed to that life style and before long he broke his vows and was captured. He suffered humiliation and his eyes were gouged out.

Even so in our times the church had enjoyed God’s blessing and power but as Samson started to flirt with the world so did it.We had continued to operate in power without dealing with sin in the camp.We failed to learn from the examples of men of God who were judged in like manner of Samson in our times. We were deceived into thinking that since God’s power was prevalent so was His favor regardless of the sin amongst us.Our hearts have become hardened by the deceitfulness of sin and our hearing has become dull as a result. Now we are at a place were the Spirit of Lord has left us and the next thing that is imminent is severe judgment.Brethren let us repent or we are going to have our eyes gouged out and humiliated.
We need men like Jehu and the Phinehas who are zealous for the Lord and who will not tolerate sin. These are the ones who can appease God’s anger.
“Woe to them who call a people blessed when they are under a curse.
Woe to them that speak peace and prosperity when there is none.
Woe to them that use enticing words and lead My people astray”.
Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever desires to be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
