The Lord in the heavens sits and laughs at the plans of the proud and the wicked. He will put them in derision and they will be brought low, till they acknowledge that there is a God in heaven directing the events on this earth.
Who is like unto You O God, amongst other gods? You reign in wisdom, majesty and strength! The nations shall see and tremble at your mighty signs.
Do not let the wicked have their way, O Lord; put a stop to their wicked endeavors. Let justice, mercy and truth reign.
Look on your church and visit her again. Lift her countenance, for we weep and mourn and are yet without children. We have humbled ourselves in vain and yet see the enemy prevailing. We have cried for light and yet darkness prevails. Revive your works O Lord in the midst of our years. We will faint unless we see your goodness.
We repent of our hardened hearts Lord, we have gone astray. We have sinned before you and have worshipped idols of our imaginations. Have mercy on us O Lord, for we repent of our wayward ways.
How long O Lord should we wait for your redemption! How long O Lord should we plead on the nation’s behalf. O that you would rend the heavens and come down that the mountains may tremble before you.
Prepare a habitation for Me and I will come. You’ve wept and mourned but yet have not fulfilled what I have told you to. Where is your obedience to my commands? You come before me seeking my face but yet your hearts are far from Me, rend your hearts and not your garments.
O Lord unless you quicken us how can we change. Unless you grip us with conviction how can we know our own faults?
I have quickened you and I have shown you the error of your ways but yet you continue in them. Now turn from your wickedness and come before me in truth, my hand of mercy is yet outstretched for a season.
Lord have mercy on us and show us your ways. Lead us into repentance that we may prepare a place for you.
Let every valley be exalted, every mountain be made low, the crooked things straight and the rough places plain that your glory maybe revealed. Remember your promises that your church will walk in liberty and power. Do this for your own name’s sake Lord that the nations will behold your authority and power. Do not forsake us entirely.
