God’s supernatural favor and intervention are normal for a Christian in his day to day life. If he just chooses to follow Him and does it , He removes the obstacles and intervenes when necessary.
We were going as a family this time for celebrating Christ in a big way for 3 days in Andamans. It would be soon 2 years since dad passed away. We checked into the airport and I made it pass all the security checks.
When I finally looked at my boarding pass ( for some reason didn’t earlier) , discovered that it was not in my name! A little surprised, I went all the way back to the counter, only to find that my name was not there in the computer! The booking agents had put my mom’s name twice instead of mine! However, God’s favor was so much so that the airline staff there asked me to just try to go through security check again without being noticed and if caught to come back; which would mean a lot of hassles involving purchasing a new ticket! God can do the same thing twice and if necessary a million times more! I went through the check again unnoticed and boarded the flight. Praise God!
Reaching Andamans , I was still in Chennai mode. Met the missionaries and had a good time discussing on the meetings and also just enjoying each other’s company. Found the transition a little difficult as was not able to quickly involve myself with them. Praying in the night helped me make the transition as the presence of the lord refreshed me! Looking forward to tomorrow as preparations for three big events from 21st to 23rd would resume!
