Gudalur Diaries – Day 5

And the Spirit said to Philip, ‘Go to that chariot’ – Acts 8:2

Day staring early. On the way to minister in 2 services in Gudalur. Very clear on what to preach…

Meetings went on very well! After that we went to see 2 fields that the missionaries were working in: both tribal areas. One of the settlements was deep in the forest and that particular colony we went to had only one Christian family. As we were talking with them, a lady with a child who had heard of us coming there, came to pray! Amazing, how such a thing could happen in a setting like that!

In the next village, one bystander listened attentively to the gospel and in the end was open enough to take my number!

Lesson here; if we are available, God brings people in our ways that are in need and are open! Willingness must be accompanied with availability and sensitivity to the Spirit and then the rewards are great no matter how hard the work may seem.

Thoughts from yesterday on the state of missionaries and missions still troubling! Must do as much as possible to bring in change.

O Lord help me! Show me your ways that I can walk in them and also teach others!

Divine appointments are only made when divine calls are answered!
