Early 21st morning and we are leaving Pattavayal, Gudalur to Hassan, Karnataka as a nearly 7-hour journey awaits! Thoughts from yesterday’s night meeting came to my mind! People came for prayer for sicknesses and seemed to go back the same way. Frustrating thoughts on as to the lack of God’s power at work.
God still heals and has not changed. But we as His children, do we have enough trust and faith in Him? O Lord, increase my faith! On the other hand, is that the only reason for not seeing God move? O Lord why am I so far away from your powerful dealings, speak to me Lord!
As the day progressed, God revealed ‘a struggle’ the missionary we stayed with was experiencing and not my own! Frustrated, at not being able to see a breakthrough in ministry!
At the same time, He spoke personally on being faithful on what is given to me now, for He will increase His authority in due time.
Looking at it, I must not see it as an excuse to be content where I am at but keep pressing on until God’s fullness is revealed!
The soul that has found the balance between being content that God will fulfill His promise of power and at the same time desiring it with all its heart, it is the soul that will find the secrets to the depths and the heights of God.
The meeting in Hassan was powerful with demons manifesting in the end. Extremely exhausted. Another 8-9 hours journey waits for us as we head to Palaminaru District in Andhra for ministry.
Show me your ways Lord that I might walk in them!
