I delight to do your will O God! – Psalms 40:8
I will rebuild the ancient ruins! – Isaiah 61:4
After finishing writing the journal yesterday, got to talking a little bit with Pas. Adhikezavan ! He soon began to describe in detail the day when the Tsunami came and took away everything including his wife. It was a miracle he had survived!
As he was narrating, i could feel the pain in his voice, however ,also felt that his journey to restoration had begun.
It is wonderful to know and understand God’s ways and how he restores souls. For a soul to be restored, the pathways of pain must be walked again on an emotional level or sometimes literally. As the person yields to God in the process, He heals, rebuilding the broken ruins.
Had an intimate time with my Lord in prayer! Looking at the blue skies and the vast ocean, got a glimpse of the splendor and glory of Him who created everything. My soul longs for You o God in times like these.
We made it to Katchal without any hassles; the chief reverend came to see us off! We had time to put our bags in the guest house in Katchal and soon it was time to visit people. We visited the first captain of Katchal and then tried to go the place Pastor had lost his wife.
We could not as we did not find a boat to get there. We stopped to do a few videos and when we started to pray Pas. Adhikez broke down, as also the Nicobari boy with us. He had also lost his parents in the Tsunami.
As we held each other and wept, I asked God to repay us by giving souls for our dear sister’s loss.
We visited several other homes and at the end of the day my heart is so full, praying for kids, blessing them, crying with them, praying for the believers and the Island itself. I delight do your will O God! My meat is to do thy will my Father.
“I am willing to continue like this day in and day out for nothing is more satisfying than the joy of doing your will O God and enjoying your presence”!
Master, another day comes to a close, a day spent with You and in doing Your will is better than a million elsewhere! May all my days be spent with You and in doing Your will!
