Nicobar –Day 7

The mouth of the righteous man utters wisdom, and his tongue speaks what is just.-Psalms 37:30

Day has started early as we are once again going to try and visit our pastor’s former home. The people who were supposed to come and pick us up are not here! It does not matter as I spent some time with my Master. My soul and flesh long & thirst for You O God. Master , I want to be wholly thine that You might me wholly mine, united so that I in You and You in me that thy will for man from before the ages is fulfilled.

As the deer panteth for the waters so my soul longs for You. Can any circumstance faced, trials, pain or Satan’s wiles or sin itself separate me from You! No, You will find a way through all of it . O lover of my soul. Your light pierces my darkness and draws me to Thyself! Let nothing com between You and me. For as death is the way to life, let me die that I might live with You now and then forever

We were able to go the very place Pastor lost his wife a little later. It was a somber moment. On the way back Pastor was telling some Nicobaris that had joined us that they can send their children to our Home. I had already told Pastor  to wait a little bit regarding kids as we didn’t have enough room for more.

Now the question arose should I stop him ? Was he wrong or would I be lacking in faith in saying no? I was involved with the situation with the Home kids and he was not, so it was easy for him to say what he had said. I needed to encourage his zeal while at the same time tell him it was not ok for now to send kids. If I do the later a little harshly it could break his zeal?

A leader has to encourage those under him to step out in faith while at the same time guide the ship from rocks or icebergs with divine wisdom !

“I told him we really want to take in more kids and that there is also a genuine need in Nicobar. We will pray for open doors, God’s will and His timing”.

When we arrived in Camorta , one of the missionaries had asked another missionary to change field without my knowledge. I got angry on the inside on hearing it but my walk with the Lord helped me discern that he had done it more out of enthusiasm and wanting to build God’s kingdom than out of rebellion or discord.

I smiled and said “We’ll see”! The final decision was mine anyway and so no harm done as the minor errors could be corrected easily and in time. Anger expressed there would have discouraged their spirits. Enthusiasm and zeal needs to be guided and not stopped! If so it will achieve great heights and lasting success!

A lot more happened with a little meeting in the evening but the best is finishing the day with Jesus! Leaving to Car Nicobar tomorrow. It would be the last stop in our long journey! God saves His best for the last!
