“He makes roadways in the desert” Isaiah 43:19
“The Harvest is plenty but the workers are few!!” Matthew 9:37,38
The morning began with a talk with the Lord about the people that we were going to meet! God’s grace had given me good health; it was now regarding the strength needed for the day.
As we drove in the van to the place of meeting Jamri, I was preparing myself for the people we would meet. God moved powerfully with demons manifesting, even while we were speaking. Some of the missionaries with us were refreshed greatly. But the afterthought, painful; Is there not a shepherd to guide these sheep? There are many who are leading them, but are they leading them towards green pastures and still waters? O lord, help me to rise up able leadership for these people that you have given us!
As we were travelling to the next pace, I was told that there was a multi complex factory in the middle of the desert! The same place we had prayed and asked God to prosper around 2 years back. I vaguely remembered praying, but this was really unexpected, as this factory now provides jobs for over 2 villages! My Father is awesome, and His ways are unfathomable! Truly, He makes the desert a fertile land and our prayers will never go unanswered, even the smallest of them, when prayed in truth.
The day ended with mixed emotions, one on a high on God’s mighty power at work and the other on a low, on a sheep without a shepherd. It’s the highs that keep you going, and it’s the lows that provide the pathway for the going!
