As the deer panteth…. Psalms 42:1
I must give myself fully for to God to move in fullness amongst the people.
Woke up in the morning with some health issues… soon, as I was doing my devotions, I was interrupted by a person of another faith who was talking eagerly about his gods and ways… saw it as my only opportunity to witness to him, but by the time we were through, we were getting ready to leave!
Morning devotion missed. Then someone played a tape with dad singing, “As the deer panteth…” on hearing dad’s voice I missed him and missed being loved by him, tears…! On the other hand, I missed my heavenly Father, a deep longing for his presence, His love and acceptance once again.
What would I have done without the former’s role in my life? And what can I have done or do without the latter?
Thoughts…. broken by the people we are to meet that day. Have to bring them God’s word and love! Should I focus on my need for God or their need for God?
Lord, I need your strength and grace more than ever for myself first and then for the people I am about to meet today. I love You. Let my life display Your love today!
The people whom we were supposed to go with came late and so did get to spend my personal time after all. God provides us with more than one opportunity, if no opportunity, He provides the grace that comes by faith!
Three meetings in a day! God moved powerfully even to the point of a few not being able to come near me because of God’s power flowing out.
Found myself getting angry at the end of the day because of the continued mistakes of some. Was it tiredness? Weary in spirit? Nevertheless, He that provides the grace, does he not, till the end?
Change me to be like You Lord, that even when angry, I will not lose my focus on you, Lord!
