“How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of those who bring glad tidings…” Isaiah 52:7
Day begins early! Journey onwards to meet one of our missionaries in a place called Sondwa. Travel by van and then a half hour walk on the mountains to get to his place. For God to send his missionary to a remote place in a mountain as this, shows that God’s love reaches to the highest of mountains!
Met the missionary and are back home. Tiring journey of nearly 7 hours with walk up and down the mountains! Missionary meeting in half an hour in the evening… must prepare the best for these people! Must give them the best and leave them with something of eternal value!
The missionaries were very open to God’s word and so the two-hour session became three. God’s word imparted.
On the mountain tops and on the hills, in the valleys and beyond the plains; deep in the deserts, far from the cities in the forests are only a few pathways blazed to walk on; out of which some are only halfway done and many areas yet to be set foot in with no trail to walk into? Are there any faithful?
Anyone? who has walked up the mount of Calvary and carries the weight of God’s love? For can he walk far who has not been on top of Golgotha? Where are the laborers?
That mountain climbed will make any other mountain too small a travel. The valleys, deserts and forests never too hard to visit and dwell! Amen!
