Leaving from Vavunya to Jaffna thru war affected zones! Returning back the same day from Jaffna to Murungan for meetings on 4th and 5th ! The whole atmosphere in Vavunya has changed. People respecting us and showing love which can be felt for real.
Pondering on this, realized that as much as negative influences in a person’s life shapes them, so do positive influences. People prior had walked wrongly and hurt these pastors, turning them apprehensive towards anybody from outside. By God’s grace, we had walked right and now they were being healed and very open. God moved us from a place of being objects of suspicion and doubt to honor and trust.
Help me to see like you see Lord, in what phase in life each person is in, so that I truly understood them and that when they cross my pathway, I can be an instrument and opportunity of healing and deliverance for them by my actions!
Reached Murungan in the night, had caught cold on the way. Exhausted and going to sleep with discomfort.
