Srilanka trip – Feb 4th 2014

We are all different members of one body- I Corinthians 12:20

Woke up in the morning a lot better, but still tired! A day of rest and in the evening a Gospel meeting. We were hosted by a Methodist pastor in whose home we are staying. Pondering on yesterday’s events, we arrived with several pastors at this traditional pastors’ home in the night. He had prepared dinner for all of us.

I was glad to see all of us talking with each other without any great reservations! Pentecostal, charismatic, independent and Methodist, though with different names, we were one in Christ through our salvation!

It was a small unity of sorts that God had used us to bring about and thereby maybe giving a foresight into greater things in that regard for us in the future!

Lord, unite us as a body and unite the fragmented pieces in my life that I might do the same for others! Let a passion develop in me for unity with God’s love at its foundation!

Felt terrible with a running nose during the meeting! It was interesting to see a Methodist Reverend leading in an unconventional way!  As I started to preach, the cold didn’t worry me and by the end of the service felt better. As I prayed for others, God had healed me!

It is during the weakest moments; He shows Himself strong on our behalf.
