US economy predictions- April 20th 2009

Recent economic news has been mixed with good and bad results. Do not mistake it for the economy recovering as the worst is yet to come.
Also the sense (impression)  from some of the positive results(esp in regards to banks) is that they have been manipulated and tampered with.

 

By the middle of this year (June- July) it will become clearer as to which direction we are heading to and by the (near the) last quarter many will have a fuller understanding as to where the economy actually is. Is this is a depression and is there any light at the end of the tunnel?

 

If we are looking to Wall Street as an indicator to the economy, we will be disappointed or even surprised at times. Those within have too many strings pulling them and too many things marring their vision from seeing clearly. They never predicted the collapse and never will be able to see the recovery clearly as well.

 

If we look to the government for accurate information we may never get it. The government is in a difficult spot between keeping the people confident and telling the truth. So, many of the information we receive could be selective. The whole truth could be greatly damaging at times, releasing unnecessary panic and fear.

 

We need to look to counsel from people outside; who don’t have anything to loose. Although the opinions of some might tend to be overly negative, they can see well than others. Also it is better to be safe than sorry! Hope for the best but prepare for the worst!
 

In saying all of this, for believers; our ultimate source and counsel must come from Christ Himself. Will the world look to us during this hour for cousnel?

 

Finally make radical decisions (with counsel) in regards to savings and stocks. If you foresee your banks failing, take the necessary measures to prevent loss. There is a time where one shouldn’t wait any longer to sell, failure to do so would result in immense loss. Also there is a time of selling like never before, use wisdom and do be hasty in that time!
