Revelations 2:18 to 29
As God’s refining fires are purifying the church, there are two ways to respond. One is to repent and allow the cross to work in our lives. This could mean loss, pain and suffering but in the end great authority and glory. On the other hand when things are being exposed we could control, manipulate, cover up (the wrong way) and deceive others and eventually ourselves. We might hold fort after much effort but eventually it is going to come crashing down.
Many will and even now some have chosen the second way, which will lead to a spirit of Jezebel being prevalent in the church. God is merciful and will give time for repentance. But for those who chose the way of the cross and not use her ways and methods nor associate with her He will give great authority over the nations.
The times will reach its fulfillment and the truths on Jezebel must be preached again. The cross must become central again. For those who love themselves and their own works, the cross and those who follow it will become stumbling blocks. Arise and see for from the midst of great trial arise a people who have been stained with the blood of the cross of Christ and blood from the cross!
