Thanks be to God who leads us into victory- 1 Corinthians 15:57
Got to spend time with God in the morning which was helpful! Early in the morning we heard that the police had given permission. The organizers were relieved. As I got to go to the place, felt very tired. Infirmities in the body was bothering me and was exhausted by the time we reached there. Added to it was quite hot. The meeting was in the open with a few trees around and only a shamiyana covering where i would speak from.
However, as I got up to preach with bro. Andrew translating the tiredness was gone and was able to preach fluently. A break in between and and I started ministering again when a demon started to manifest trying to disturb my sermon and continued to till we had to stop and minister; soon there were not one but few more manifesting; some violently! The lady who disturbed us first got delivered but some others didn’t .
It left me pondering as to why?
On one hand God’s deliverance was at work and on the other hand people were still in bondage. Must thank God for the victories but must continue pressing in through the battles for in it we grow into authority.
If life were to bring immediate victories every time It would make the soldier complacent and lazy.
If life were all battles lost then it would wear him off. Life must have its victories for in it we stand and the struggles for in it we grow to stand!
After the meetings we visited Saranath the place Buddha had started out with his five disciples! Varnasi is a place where powerful spiritual doors were opened; most of them not very good!
We arrived at the spot where he had started and i started praying! As i did, i felt God gave me great authority to pray to open doors and close doors.
Heaven will one day reveal all that has been accomplished for God and the magnitude of them!
Every single prayer prayed, every battle fought, every tear shed and every struggle faced will be worth one day as we see the fruit thereof from above not seen otherwise in the natural!
