“For nothing is impossible with God” – Luke 1:37
The sorrow about the state of missionaries was only greater as the day started!
We made our journey, visiting our missionaries in Bindh in the morning.
The missionary we went with was an excited and an angry type! There was an accusing spirit that was prevalent!
As we went to Bindh, the missionary who took us seemed to have a grace in creating problems out of nowhere! It was turbulent with him around.
After the day-long visit we had wanted to visit a certain believer in his congregation to which he blatantly refused!
It took a lot of advice and counseling to convince him and soon we were done with the visiting. In the night as we sat down to talk, I was not well physically and had not eaten properly in the afternoon, and night added to the travel exhaustion.
Somehow, my love had won them ( the missionary ) over as they opened up and started stalking till after midnight! Exhausted but some positives at the end of the day.
The highlight of the day however was in how a poor family hosted us in Bindh, honored us so much, washed my feet, and then gave me an offering which was very high by their standards. It broke my heart.
Pondering on the events a day later realized that God works and changes people no matter how hard they are deep inside but someone must be willing to walk with them, many a time taking on their negativity and all the garbage, speaking words of life, healing and peace whenever possible!
In the early hours of the morning, we got on the train to Chennai, satisfied but totally exhausted.
