What demons can and cant do!

In discussing these things, we must understand that Satan’s power is no match to God’s and God can outperform him by millions to countless of times. Jesus said that he cast out demons by the finger of God. That’s how much or even less effort God needs to exert in destroying the enemy in all his might.

Today we think that if somebody mentions the name of Jesus or quotes the Bible everything is fine. We think that if people speak in an unknown language or see miracles or signs then it must be God. We think material prosperity is a sign of God’s affirmation.
All of those hold good in context but by themselves don’t guarantee that the Spirit of Truth is present there or moving through an individual. Even demons can do or say those things.

Also, the incomplete gospel of only blessing and prosperity [ Christ does bless but His Love demands Lordship over our lives] that has been preached hasn’t helped proper discernment at all. Rather it has and is producing a deceived group of people.

The things we see further will freak most of us but in a good way.

In certain countries the spiritual realm is very real unlike the US. My Dad was into deliverance ministry even before I was born. So, I grew up seeing demons cast out of people almost every day at one point. When that happens you can in some wise see firsthand what they do and can’t do.

WHAT DEMONS CAN DO

1)They can confess that Jesus is the Son of God (Legion in Luke). They can quote scriptures with perverted accuracy (Jesus’ temptation).They can say bits and pieces of the apostles creed (the one on Jesus’ birth life and resurrection).They are not bothered even when people who are possessed do that.

2)They can heal people (Scripture- In the end times false prophets shall do many signs and wonders). In India there is a certain individual who calls himself as Christ and also makes himself equivalent to other gods. To date he has performed many miracles. Now it remains to be seen what happened to the people who were healed., most going into perverse lifestyles or a far worse sickness coming back.

3)They can bless people with finances and prosperity. I was doing my internship under a doctor in Russia. We had some free time during that day and she asked me if i knew a particular man from India.Then she went on to tell how they were struggling financially before they went (all the way) from Russia to India to see this man.She said he blessed them and ever since that day they had prospered greatly. She also said that many top leaders in the world go to him secretly.This is no secret in India.

4) Now am going to take it up a notch further. Decieving  spirits in people can actually pretend to do everything we do in church. They can speak in tongues (demonic), they can say “praise you jesus”  “thank you jesus”  “worship you jesus” and stuff like that with ease. Now one has to wonder which jesus they are saying it too, which of course is the devil (angel of light). They can give words of knowledge with almost 100% accuracy (when I’m using the term words of knowledge am not relating it to the gift of the Spirit) These demons can actually tell our past almost accurately. They can try and prophesy (predict our future) but mostly they are wrong.

WHAT DEMONS  CAN’T DO

1)These spirits are unclean and can never produce Holiness in people and that is why the fruit of Holiness is an important marker in any community that claims God is present and moving.

2)When they are asked to mention Jesus’ death and resurrection on the cross, they just cannot do it and become fearful. They know that it was their place of defeat.

3)They are afraid of the blood of Jesus and cannot proclaim the victory that comes through the blood of Jesus when God’s authority is there to deliver. They freak out when songs on the blood or the cross of Christ are sung, of course with the Spirits power present to deliver.

4)They cannot say the Apostles’ Creed in full, meaning that if the (possessed) person says it that implies he believes in the TRUTH and so then they would have to leave.

Now in ending I must with great distress say, we rarely hear any mention of the redemptive work of the cross or the blood of Jesus today. There is little or no clear gospel truth being presented on the death, resurrection and the coming of Christ. There is little or no Holiness. While there is plenty of importance given to the things mentioned in “Can do’s”.
While (once again) everything must be taken in context, demons have no problem hiding in those atmospheres and can easily deceive people.

Let us test the spirits to see if they are of God or not.
